The VCS holds two meetings per year. One is held in April, the day before the main BSAVA Congress in Birmingham, and the other is a two-day meeting in the Autumn.
Spring 2018 Pre-BSAVA Meeting: Wednesday 4th April 2018
The Veterinary Cardiovascular Society warmly invites you to join us at our pre-BSAVA Spring meeting on 4th April 2018, Hall 9, ICC, Birmingham where we hope to provide a stimulating meeting for anyone with an interest in cardiology. This year we are lucky to have Mark Oyama joining us from the USA and Prof Adrian Boswood will be updating us with more data from the EPIC study. We will also be providing a review of the proposed new heart testing scheme for cavalier King Charles spaniels and how to perform CPCR (on humans). The programme for the day is attached. Registration will be available via the link below:
The fees this year are a bargain: Early bird registration - Members £95/non-members £125; later registration - Members £120/non-members £150. Cost includes lunch & proceedings. You may have noticed that we have reduced the meeting registration fees. This was decided at the November 2017 AGM (see the minutes sent attached to a previous email) and hope you all agree that this makes our meetings even more attractive and good value for money. Please note that there is a cheaper early bird rate if you register before 16th March. No registrations can be accepted after 25th March.
Please also note that there will be a popular panel discussion from 4 until 5 pm on 4th April. We welcome any questions you may have for the panel members in advance - the theme for the discussion will be "treatment of heart failure", with an emphasis on diuretic resistance (please email questions related to this topic to firstname.lastname@example.org).
Electronic copies of proceedings of all VCS meetings from 2009 are available to VCS members from Kieran Borgeat (email@example.com).
